Karl Valentin comic

A few weeks ago, I posted a panel of a comic I had been working on, but didn't tell what it was for. Well, now that comic is not only finished, but actually already printed and published. It's a three-page short story in an anthology about Munich comedian and avant-garde artist Karl Valentin that was published by Volk Verlag, the same publisher that also published Wiesn-G'schichtn, the Oktoberfest anthology I was a part of two years ago. Like with Wiesn-G'schichtn, I again worked from a script by my buddy Oskar Rauch.

Here's chriseff's cover of the new book:

And a glimpse of my pages inside the book:

More info on the book can be found at the Comicaze website. Comicaze is the Munich comics organization that initiated this project.

Next thursday, there's going to be a launch party at the Karl Valentin museum in Munich, where we'll present the new book and exhibit a bunch of our original drawings, including two of mine. For more info on the party and the exhibition, check out the official Facebook event.
